Edvino Ugolini, born in Trieste. He studied in Frankfurt and Bologna. Teacher and free lance translator. Anarchist in his heart and his mind. In this time of anachronism, the poet has to elevate himself over the private interests, the parties, the lobbies, the media and all that which makes the human beings slaves of a destructive and inhuman system. Since ever the poets have been the minstrels of freedom and ethics without emblems. I feel myself a part of this big family of free men and I call on everybody who believes into the ideals of freedom and justice to fight against every sort of injustice. The world is sinking into the abyss of indifference of the rich towards the poor. The tenth part of the world is sucking the blood of the rest and we are all accomplices. We must break this perverse chain of global interests which tread on the elementary rights of men. Until human beings will be discriminated because of their race, religion or simply because of their poorness, mankind cannot consider itself like that and the human beast will continue to triumph on the purest feelings every man has inside. |
